Reignwell is an independent Australian studio building software and digital products. Right now that means four: a till for small cafes, a form builder, an app for tasks and shared calendars, and a music player. Three are still in development. One is out.
Reignwell isn’t locked to one industry or one kind of product. We build around problems, ideas and opportunities. If something can be made simpler, nicer, more useful or just more enjoyable, it’s fair game.
We’re still early. The projects are evolving and the site is being built alongside them.
As each one becomes genuinely ready to show, test or release, it will appear here with real detail: what it does, what state it’s in, and how to get hold of it.

How we build
Good design should make a product easier to understand and better to live with, not just give it something impressive to put in a screenshot.
We like products that feel approachable without becoming limited. Powerful underneath, calm on the surface.
A lot of our projects start with the same thought: “Why is this harder than it needs to be?” Then we go and build the answer.
Where we stand
Reignwell is run by a Christian, and that shapes how the work gets done: honest pricing, honest claims, and treating every person who uses our products as someone worth serving properly.
You don’t have to share our beliefs to be welcome here. Everyone is. But we’d rather say plainly what we’re built on than leave you guessing.

Reignwell POS is a hosted point-of-sale system for small hospitality businesses. We run your till on our servers; you reach it from a browser at your premises. A subscription grants a licence to use the software for as long as it runs. You do not receive a copy of the software.
A tablet or computer with a browser, and an internet connection. Because your till runs on our servers, if your internet is down the register will not load. Take orders on paper and enter them when you are back online, as you would if your card terminal lost signal. Nothing already sold is lost.
Australian businesses must retain records for five years. We hold a copy and you can export it whenever you like, but please do not treat our service as your only record. If you stop using us, export first.
Sales records cannot be edited by anyone, including us. A correction is stored as a new record referencing the original. This is deliberate, and it is what makes the records trustworthy.
Your till warns you every hour for five days, naming the exact date and time new sales would pause, and after that it stops starting new sales until the subscription is current. Throughout, and afterwards: everything you have already sold stays on your till, stays in your reports, stays exportable, and keeps backing up. We do not withhold your records over a bill. Restoring payment clears it automatically.
You may stop at any time. We will keep your records available for a reasonable period so you can export them, then delete what we hold.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL.
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.

We run your till, so we hold a copy of your sales and we can see it. We do not hold your customers' contact details, your staff's personal details, or anyone's card numbers. You can download your own records at any time.
To run your till, to keep a durable off-site copy for you, to bill you, and to investigate a problem you have reported. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train anything.
On servers in Australia. Traffic between your till and us is encrypted in transit. Each business's data is stored in its own separate database file, not mixed into a shared table with other businesses.
Sign in to your account and use Export your records to download every settled sale, your daily totals, your GST and your refunds, for any date range, as spreadsheet files. When you stop using the service you may ask us to delete what we hold. Export first, because deletion is not reversible. We may retain some records where the law requires it.
Your business and account details can be changed in your account or by contacting us. Sales records cannot be edited, by you or by us; a correction is a new record referencing the original.
Passwords are hashed and never stored in a form we can read. If a breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required.
This policy covers what we do. If you collect your customers' details on your till, that is your collection and you have your own obligations under the Privacy Act.

You can cancel at any time. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Your service runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and is not renewed.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.
Whatever the state of your account (cancelled, refunded, or in dispute), everything you have sold stays available to you and exportable. We do not withhold a business's own records over money.

Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that they will be provided with due care and skill and be fit for the purpose we described.
